This Privacy Policy explains how Retrofit Innovations (“Retrofit Innovations,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit our storefront, create an account, contact us, or place an order. This Policy begins applying on the effective date above, which is the date it is published.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the storefront, we may collect:

  • Contact and account information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, company name, account credentials, and communication preferences.
  • Order and delivery information, such as billing and shipping details, products and options ordered, order history, shipment status, and customer-service communications.
  • Vehicle and order-fitment information, including the vehicle make, model, and year; master-cylinder selection; referral source; and dealer-interest response that you provide during checkout.
  • Payment-related information. Payments are processed through PayPal. PayPal and its service providers handle payment authorization and payment credentials. We receive transaction information needed to confirm, fulfill, refund, and reconcile an order, but we do not ask for or store your PayPal password.
  • Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers, and diagnostic or security events.
  • Information you send us, including messages, photographs, product questions, support requests, and any content you choose to submit.

How we collect information

We collect information:

  • directly from you when you submit a form, create an account, or order;
  • automatically through storefront cookies and similar technologies; and
  • from service providers involved in operating the storefront, processing payments, delivering orders, preventing abuse, and supporting customers.

How we use information

We may use information to:

  • provide, maintain, secure, and improve the storefront;
  • create and manage customer accounts;
  • process, fulfill, ship, track, support, cancel, or refund orders;
  • review vehicle and master-cylinder details relevant to product configuration and fitment;
  • respond to questions and customer-service requests;
  • send transactional messages about accounts, orders, payments, shipments, returns, or security;
  • send marketing communications when permitted and honor unsubscribe or consent choices;
  • detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical failures;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and
  • measure storefront use and performance when optional analytics are enabled and permitted by your consent settings.

How we disclose information

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:

  • Commerce and hosting providers, including Wix and Vercel, which help operate and deliver the storefront;
  • Payment providers, including PayPal, which authorize, process, and administer payments and refunds;
  • Shipping and fulfillment providers, including UPS, which provide rates, delivery, tracking, and related services;
  • Security and technology providers, including services used for fraud prevention, CAPTCHA, diagnostics, communications, and—when enabled—analytics;
  • Professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to obtain advice, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or comply with law; and
  • A successor to the business in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.

Service providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices. PayPal’s handling of payment information is governed by PayPal’s privacy notice.

Cookies, consent, and analytics

The storefront uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for functions such as carts, checkout, account sessions, security, and privacy preferences. Optional analytics or similar technologies may also be used when enabled and permitted by your consent settings.

You can use the storefront’s privacy controls, when displayed, to manage optional categories. Browser controls may also block or delete cookies, but doing so can prevent essential storefront features from working correctly.

Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including order fulfillment, customer support, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the reason it is maintained. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No transmission, storage system, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use a unique password and notify us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

Your choices and requests

You may:

  • review and update available account information;
  • unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email;
  • manage optional cookie choices through the storefront privacy controls;
  • ask us to access, correct, or delete information, subject to applicable law and information we must retain for legitimate business or legal reasons; and
  • contact us with a privacy question or complaint.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority where applicable.

Children’s privacy

This storefront is intended for a general automotive-parts audience and is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the storefront, please contact us so we can review and address it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the storefront, our practices, or applicable requirements. An updated Policy will state the date on which it begins applying. We will publish it on that effective date and provide any additional notice required by law.
